Picture Ministry: (in)courage

Print Friendly

Are you like me? Sometimes I beat myself up for not helping enough. Why don’t I set the example for my children and help in our community more? Volunteer, give, donate my time? And, if you are like me, you may find it difficult to find a practical way to do such a thing with five children in tow – from teens to preschoolers.

So I’ll share with you the gentle answer the Lord gave me. It’s one simple way my children and I can help each and every holiday. Not just the usual Thanksgiving and Christmas. The calendar flipped to June and guess what we are doing?

I’d be thrilled if you’d read more at (in)courage!

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children – preschoolers to middle schoolers. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

    • Phyllis, you know I am a simple and practical girl. Isn’t it wonderful how the Lord speaks to us each uniquely? And how many different ways this can be interpreted…
