Helpful Habit – Christmas in July

Print Friendly

It’s hot outside. Mosquitoes abound (at least here in the south). I bet you are fanning yourself as you are reading this. Ready for some cool thoughts for mid-summer? Our annual tradition will have you and your children smiling.

For one or two days right smack in the middle of summer we celebrate Christmas. Yes, Christmas in July! Prior to the big day, I make a Christmas list just like I do before December. I check my list twice to be sure we have all the supplies we need.

And there are gifts!

I’m keeping up the habit of sharing a helpful habit on Fridays. Please join me for some nice, cool celebratory fun at Heart of the Matter.

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children – preschoolers to middle schoolers. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

  1. Another great idea. It would be a fun thing to do this summer.
