Hi Helen, I love these too! The important step is priming the bottle first, then regular, black spray paint. All the instructions are supplied by Brown Paper Packages in the link above. We used Goo Gone to remove the labels, Krylon spray primer, and Color Place Interior/exterior spray black. I’ve uploaded more photos to this post which I hope will help.
