Fun for Easter Week

A guilt-free, clean-slate stay-cation celebratory Easter week ahead! We’ll enjoy some Easter traditions and add in a few other activities from this list:

Of course we made our own variation.

Up from the grave He arose, With a mighty triumph o’er His foes, He arose a Victor from the dark domain, And He lives forever, with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

I know we won’t get to necessarily enjoy all of this but definitely a celebratory week. Counting the gifts of Holy week and…

  • marking attendance for our March homeschool and realizing we only have 25 official days left!
  • new buzz cut on a big boy
  • sisters, swinging high. Eldest and youngest girl. Talking laughing.
  • trees bursting with spring blossoms – white and pink dogwood, cherry trees.
  • rose bushes blooming – you’d think it was Mother’s Day!
  • me and three high school friends having cheesecake tonight! The cheesecake quartet.
  • a wonderful provision of curriculum that came with winning a bloggy review contest.
  • Victory in Jesus.

Counting #3084- 4000.

What are you doing this week?

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

  1. WE are close to being ‘done’ with the official calendar, too!!! Thanks for this great list, Tricia.

  2. A great list of activities. I can’t wait to make the Peeps cake, which was a big hit around here last year.
