Teach Them Diligently Convention and GHEA
Did you know that Teach Them Diligently is teaming up with Georgia Home Education Association (GHEA)? Oh I dearly love and value continuing education. And this is THE homeschool convention to attend in Atlanta. I’ve written about GHEA and the encouragement of seeing the sheer number of fellow homeschoolers:
Continuing Education at Your State Homeschool Convention – The sheer number of homeschoolers. That’s what impressed me most the first time I attended my state homeschool convention. Others, like me! Filling an entire convention center! That alone helped me know I was not the only one on this journey. There are other families like us – and lots of them! (There’s my family – in the front row – listening to Voddie Baucham last May at our state convention, GHEA).
And though this is not an Atlanta event, I highly recommend Real Refreshment Retreats (RRR). I have attended two RRR in the last several years. Ready to be encouraged in your journey? Right during the winter blahs? I urge you, fellow sisters in the homeschool trenches, to make retreat time a priority. Yes it is for you.
What a blessing! Read more about my experiences here: Real Refreshment Retreats for the Homeschool Mama
