Cooking Fun: Two Ingredient Lemon Bars

Lemon Bars by five-year-old! Nana came across this simple and delicious recipe from Practically Living.

A boxed cake mix and a can of lemon pie filling? Practical to keep on hand for the Cook Box!

Get your chef hat if you’d like.

Great for stirring action! (Thank you, Nana).

Bake in a 9×13 pan. Dust with powdered sugar if you’d like.

Click over to Practically Living’s Two-Ingredient Lemon Bars for very easy directions. Thanks Jessie!

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

“Raising children is a God-given privilege” AMEN! I have come across your site by accident, because I came across your lemon cake recipe here. And I LOVE lemon bars. I, too, homeschooled my children, but we raised them teaching them about the Lord. So it is wonderful to hear someone else is doing the same. God bless, and than you for sharing your recipe. 🙂

Virginia – I always love to ‘meet’ a fellow, like-minded parent! Thanks for taking the time to comment – and for your encouraging words!
