Cow Appreciation Day

A couple of years ago we went all out for Cow Appreciation Day. We made t-shirts with cow spots for everybody – even the baby! We printed out cow masks, cow ears. We even spotted up some socks!

This year we needed to make a new shirt for a growing boy. Three had fun whipping it up.

His baby shirt went on Bitty Baby.

Last night, I pulled out the stack of shirts from the closet – and the masks I saved.

This morning, Littlest Girl got pigtails with cow ears.

We loaded up and headed to Chick-fil-a on the way to Hodgepodgedad’s work.

Plus, we got to meet Nana and our cousin (who is also a brand new big brother!)

We drew smiles from drive thru customers, Chick-fil-a employees and fellow breakfast folks.

Do you see?? Over $30 for zero! All of us!

Then playground time…

all around!

On the way home? “That was fun!” from Littlest Boy in the back seat.

There’s still time for you to feed your herd and join the fun too. Go download your mask here. Thank you Chick-fil-a!!

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

Love it! We have friends that go every year, but we have never done it! We keep saying we will one of these days. 🙂

I would do it except my vegetarian husband thinks it is a most curious tradition.
