Homemade Paper Doll Costume: Frugal Living

I think this has to be my favorite Pinterest find yet! I showed it to Middle Girl and she took off with it. We got a few pieces of poster board and she got out the markers, scissors and tape.

How much does a piece of poster board cost? A dollar? Maybe $1.50.

Plus the cost of an afternoon of fun making it!

Cheap and CUTE!

Thanks UCreate! Be sure to hop over there to see the original in blue. And you can print out the template at Family Fun (though Middle Girl just free handed hers and I think it is precious).

Middle Girl plans to figure out how to attach a box to the back of her paper doll purse – for the candy collecting   🙂

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.

What a CREATIVE idea! I have always loved paper dolls. When I was a girl, mine were the frugal version — cut from a Sears catalog! 😉 But I never would have thought to make a life-size version. What a great idea AND a great job!
