Summer Fun: Camera Phone Variety

Some big things this week!

1. The whole Hodgepodge and Nana went to see Cars 2 (it was Lil’ Buddy’s 1st time at the theater!) | 2. Eldest boy got his braces off! | 3. Middle Girl’s eyeball. | 4. Making limeade pie | 5. Microwave Sunbutter Fudge | 6. First Cuke from the garden!

Couldn’t let the big day of getting braces off pass without a before…

and an after photo! My boy sure has grown up in a little over two years of wearing braces.

The bulk of the week I have been on the mission to purge – room by room. I finished our multi-purpose room that houses three sets of children’s clothes and toys. I also started in the school room. But that is still in progress.

We also all went together to grocery shop Thursday night – and survived! Today we joined some of our homeschool friends at the pool for some Friday before the 4th fun!

Thanks to Dawn at My Home Sweet Home for hosting fun Camera Phone Friday!

Happy Independence Day weekend, friends! What are you doing? Going to see some fireworks?

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.
