When you have some fresh, garden squash – or four or five from the produce section – you can make up some squash casserole. Just wash, then slice up your squash. Add finely chopped onion – or larger slices of onion. Whatever your preference. Put it all in a microwave-safe casserole dish. Add a splash of water. Then, the secret ingredient, a spoonful of sugar.
