Fast Food For Slow Sundays: Tater Tot Casserole

Tater Tot Casserole is a nice, filling meal for Sunday dinner. Just pull your cooked ground turkey or ground beef from the freezer. (The meat you already cooked in the slow cooker after your trip to the store). If you assemble the night before, wait to add the tater tots until right before you put it in the oven. This recipe is simple enough to put together as you walk in the door.

We adopted this recipe from the Duggar family. They say this is Jim Bob’s favorite meal. Perfect if you are feeding a crowd as it makes two 9×13 pans. If you are serving just your family, you can cut the recipe in half.

  • Click over to the Duggar site for the recipe.

For more Sunday lunch ideas – that can be enjoyed any day of the week, see the other recipes posted here in the Fast Food for Slow Sundays category or Fast Food for Slow Sundays at Habits for a Happy Home.

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.
